The lodge's decor was so exceptional that I couldn't stop taking pictures for my Instagram. Plus, the wine list had a phenomenal selection of local wines and private collection wines - perfect for impressing my friends!
Plastic cutlery? How delightful!

The location of this hotel is perfect, with the Augrabies National Park just a short distance away. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a private balcony to enjoy the views. the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, providing excellent service and a delicious breakfast.
The shower cubicles in the bathrooms could be larger to enhance the overall experience.

Loved the exceptional and unique decor, the extensive wine list, and the range of river activities offered.
Oh, and how could I forget the pleasure of cutting into a lamb shank with a plastic knife? Absolutely delightful.

Aside from the stunning natural surroundings, Dundi Lodge also offers excellent recreational amenities. During my stay, I made the most of the outdoor pool, which provided a refreshing and enjoyable experience. Whether it was to cool down after a long day or simply relax under the sun, the pool was a wonderful addition to my stay at the lodge.
Now, in terms of the minor negative aspect, I must mention the pricing policy for additional guests staying in the same room.

The staff members were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They were always available to help and were attentive to our needs. the location of the hotel was fantastic, conveniently situated close to the main attractions and sights of the city. We also enjoyed the delicious local cuisine offered at the hotel's restaurant, which was a delightful culinary experience.
The room's air conditioning was quite disappointing. Not only did it emit a bright light that was a bit bothersome at night, but it was also quite noisy, making it difficult to sleep in peace.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by Lawrence who made us feel right at home. The beautiful palm tree avenue and sparkling pool created a tranquil oasis. The standard suite was clean and comfortable with refreshing cold waters in the fridge. The restaurant served tasty food and our friendly waitress Leonden gave great suggestions. The deluxe suite was spacious and beautifully decorated. Lawrence's knowledge of the area and spot-on recommendations made our visit truly memorable. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with a late check-in and even arranged a hot meal. The rooms were comfortable and clean, offering a pool to beat the heat. The restaurant served thoughtfully prepared meals that we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were friendly, professional, and made our stay easy. The spacious room and comfortable bed made for a perfect stay. Lawrence was an angel, accommodating our check-in and check-out times. The main suite felt like royalty - spacious, clean, and homely. The breakfast selection and coffee were superb. The highlight was the exceptional service from Lawrence and the VIP treatment at the house. Though we wished for a swimming pool at the house, the overall stay was mind-blowing.

We only wished there was a swimming pool at the house as well.

The decor at the lodge had a charming and warm feel, reminiscent of authentic African culture. The tranquil interiors opened onto a spacious courtyard and pool area, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for senior guests like myself. The hotel's accessibility was impressive, with well-maintained pathways and easy-to-navigate spaces that made it comfortable for seniors to move around.
I would suggest having more assistance available for senior guests, as sometimes the children working there seemed busy and overwhelmed.
